Orkney has two distinct cruising areas; over 40 islands and skerries lie to the north of the Orkney Mainland, of which 12 are inhabited; here you will find excellent cruising in relative security and never far from a safe haven.
To the south lies the deepest natural harbour in Northern Europe - Scapa Flow - which is world renowned for it's dramatic wreck diving holidays. Like the North Isles you will find an abundance of natural wildlife and snug anchorages. |
